A life dedicated to singing, to vocality and its facets. In over thirty years of activity Roberta Bacciolo deepened, experimented with many musical genres, and the resulting versatility allowed her to perform in heterogeneous contexts with very different formations, from duo to rock group, from small jazz ensemble to big band.

The live dimension is the most congenial for Roberta, the performance, albeit with the same lineup, is a new and engaging experience each time, thanks to an ever-participating audience and the talent of the musicians who accompany her. Alongside the large number of concerts, Roberta Bacciolo supports studio sessions as a chorister and didactic activity.

For many years in business on the music scene

Roberta Bacciolo is a soloist in various bands and session player in the most important recording studios, for record productions and advertising jingles (Rio Mare, Lines, Peroni, Lancia, Ferrero, Iveco, Volskwagen). She performed in hundreds of concerts in Italy and abroad and had numerous appearances in Italian successful television programs.
Appreciated interpreter, she works alongside talented musicians for important sessions and events (Sestriere World Ski Championships, Athens 2004 Olympics, Turin 2006), festivals (Moncalieri Jazz, Fiorenza Jazz, Da Da Umpa, Bengio Festival) gala evenings and convention (Fiat, Iveco, Seat, Seven, Lavazza, Vorkwerk).
Her innate vocal skills, combined with professionalism and experience, allow her to range naturally between the various musical genres, from pop to jazz, from dance to swing. Thanks to her versatility she performs both in small band and in a large orchestra, always offering quality music.

From concerts to studio recordings

Alongside his extensive live activity, she combines studio recordings as a soloist (for cinema and TV, songs and theme songs, cartoons), and as a backing vocalist in the projects of Italian artists such as Alexia, 883, Jovanotti, Caparezza, Giuliano Palma, Shel Shapiro, Rocco Papaleo. In August 2004, she entertained the guests of Casa Italia, a meeting point for athletes and professionals at the Athens Olympics, with her voice. She recorded Games in Harmony, the official anthem of Turin 2006 presented in Seoul on the occasion of Turin's candidacy as an Olympic venue. Roberta Bacciolo collaborated in the creation of the theme song for the World Fencing Championships in Turin and performed two pieces during the opening ceremony of the games.
In May 2007 she entered the Mondo Cane project by the American artist Mike Patton (former leader of Faith No More), a reinterpretation of Italian songs from the 50s and 60s, proposed with an organic of 9 musicians (of the caliber of Roy Paci and Gegè Munari), 5 choristers and 25 orchestra professors. With this show in the months of June and July 2008 she performed during a short tour in Italy and Northern Europe (Holland, Finland and Sweden), which culminated in the evening of 18 July 2008 in Bologna.

Always looking for new artistic experiences

The love for the melodies of yesteryear and the desire to deal with ever-different genres and atmospheres are manifested with the Voci di Corridoio group, a vocal research project in Italian swing music of the 40s and 60s. Their album "Extraordinary Edition" boasts the participation of famous musicians such as Caparezza and Fabrizio Bosso.
The last work, released at the end of 2014 was "Speciale per Lelio" a monographic project on the unforgettable Lelio Luttazzi, in which the vocal quartet duets with none other than the voice of Luttazzi himself and with the lady of Italian jazz, Jula de Palma . With this CD, the Voices of Corridor were among the candidates for the Targa Tenco 2015.
Always looking for new artistic experiences, she joined the cast of two shows produced by Tangram Teatro: Peter Pan and the “Effort of growing up” alongside professor Vittorino Andreoli and the actors Patrizia Pozzi and Bruno Maria Ferraro (Bardonecchia, Teatro delle Feste - Turin, Teatro Carignano), and “L’amore rubato” based on texts by Dacia Maraini.
